They just posted the calendar of events for the next four weeks-which are dubbed "silly season"-and there is legitimately an event every single night until "sleep" on August 16.
A lot of us are taking tonight off, but this past weekend has been insane. We had scav hunt and our first o-week pub crawl, which was Australian Icons themed. Tomorrow night is Scruffy Murphys, which should be fun cause finally most of the residents are moving back in! Last night I went out with Jonathan and some of the Goldstein/Baxter freshers to the Rege and then to Churchill's. I met some really nice people.
I have actually mastered the campus map! Today I figured out where all my classes are so that I'm ready for Food Psychology tomorrow. I also set up that I am going to be volunteering for a couple hours every week at the Coogee Public School, right down the road. I'm so excited!
Yesterday I got to see Mom and the Sinclairs. We spent the day at Bondi, shopping, walking on the beach, and at the Sunday market, which was full of all these cool vintage stalls. Mom is on a plane right now back to the Los Angeles! I am going to miss her.
